👐The most valuable heritage is not what we give, it’s what we build together — walking alongside communities so they can own their own future.❤️

We walk alongside women, youth, and communities in Western Guatemala so that health, education, and hope become a living heritage that flourishes on its own.❤️

Who We Are

Everyone leaves a legacy. The question is: what heritage do we want to live on in the next generations?

In western Guatemala, there are communities with invaluable wealth: their culture, their knowledge, their capacity for work and the desire to build a better future. However, many times they don't need someone to tell them what to do; they need an ally who believes in them and walks alongside them.

At Fundación Herencia Viva we believe that sustainable development is not imposed; it is born from the communities themselves.

That is why we work shoulder to shoulder with families to promote access to safe water, strengthen entrepreneurship, expand educational opportunities and develop community leadership. Our commitment is not to deliver temporary solutions, but to strengthen capacities that last a lifetime.

"Because a water pump can last years. An entrepreneurship can support a family. But a community that learns to build its own future leaves a Living Heritage."

👐”We don’t come to give solutions.  We walk alongside communities.” 💪

We believe in the power of communities to transform their own reality. That’s why we work side by side with women, youth, and families in Western Guatemala, respecting their knowledge, their culture, and their dreams.

Our mission: To reduce poverty through sustainable projects in health, education, infrastructure, and entrepreneurship.
